Some programs installed on a network share won't open.

I have plugged a usb stick into my router's usb port and installed some programs on it, so i can access them from anywhere on my network, however, some of these programs will not run, stating that "There is not enough free memory to run this program". does this refer to my router's RAM or something? my PC is plenty powerful to run GPU-Z, i'm pretty sure. what's even weirder is that some programs i installed do run, such as FurMark and HeavyLoad, for example.

Heavyload did say that it detected being run inside a VM, so maybe my router is emulating these programs or something?
anyway, i'd love if someone could help me solve this issue.
