multiplayer in diffrent region ? (ps4 or 5)

Hey guys , so i got black ops 4 from amazon that showed new and from the usa, well it is new but its from Europe instead.... so i was wondering would it be ok to play a multiplayer game from a different region ? i know its region free on (single player games)  the consoles i was just wondering if multiplayer is any different?
