Samsung tv Ip control

Does anyone know why Samsung tvs do not support Ip control in the uk as it clearly built in as smart things can control them but they cannot be controlled by anything else which gets really frustrating as a control 4 installer when I have to sort out ir and fit an ir bud to each tv. If someone could give a solution to this or even just a reason why it would be greatly appreciated.
