which media player app you suggest to use on Shield TV Pro?

is there a built in media player app on Shield TV Pro?

You should be able to use the pre-installed photo and video gallery app. It is purple. Just make sure to go to settings, device, storage, and then turn on auto scan for devices so it can be picked up

If you want something a little more fancy, kodi is nice for playing local content, such as from external hdd.
