I just don't know what to make.

Other details: I have an ASUS Tuf Gaming B550m wi-fi and a ASUS Tuf Gaming Z590 plus wi-fi, Sapphire Pulse RX 6400, Corsair RM 750. Menagerie of M.2, 2.5 SSD, and HDD.

 

I would like to actually build both of the boards but I don't need to for any real reason as I already have a new computer. What I am looking for more than anything is a direction to take either one of or both of the boards and some general help in what would be better options for one over the other. I have debated on turning one into a NAS or a media server or a light duty computer to have in the living room for guests when visiting with kids. They can be anything and I think that is my problem in that since they can be anything I don't know where to start or a direction to go in.
