3070 gpu for $290-$400‽‽ legit?

vWORMHAT

Looking in ebay and I'm seeing 3070s some for $700 some for $400 and just saw a GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 3070 for $291.30.

Should we be weary? Are these scams or are the prices really that good with the crypto crash and new 4000 series that's about to come out?

There are five days left in that auction, bud. The price isn't going to stay $291.30. You gotta learn how eBay works.

If you want to see 3070's that you can just purchase for a set price without having to bid against other people, then filter your search results to "Buy it Now."

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

They're not selling for $290.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

Reasonable prices, if you take away the fact that you're buying 2nd hand GPUs. No warranty, no return policy, no idea of what the card went through before it got to you. If you account for all that those are HUGELY overpriced and I'd only buy a GPU second hand if I didn't care about my money and I was desperate. Like physically desperate.
