How can I save the setup on my monitor?

I have a Asus VA24EHE 23.8” Monitor, 1080P, Full HD, IPS, 75Hz, HDMI D-Sub DVI-D, Adaptive-Sync / FreeSync, VESA wall mountable, Eye Care, Flicker-free and Low Blue Light  & I finally got it where bright colors don't blast my eyes out & still readable., there is a way to save, because the bottom of the menu has shortcut 1 & 2? A review said it was to bright anyway, so would it just be better to get ASUS VG278QR 27” Gaming Monitor 165Hz Full HD (1920 x 1080) 0.5ms G-SYNC Eye Care DisplayPort HDMI DVI ?

I went down to the shortcut option & tried to set 1, I could get to the options to set brightness/etc. I hit the check mark button after choosing and (that seems like it would work) nothing. I

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe.
