New server mostly as gameserver; hardware suggestion

Hello everyone,

I'm currently hosting a modded Minecraft server (80+ mods). If more than 6 peoples are online at the same time the TPS is dropping from around 16 to 11 or even 9. That's why I'm currently thinking about building a new server for games and the old server would then be used for Storage or so. I would highly appreciate it if you guys could help me and maybe suggest some parts or even builds for me. I was thinking about something around 600€ as my budget.

My current server has:

CPU: 2x Intel Xeon X5675 (6C/12T)

RAM: 48GB DDR3 2000Mhz Triple channel

Motherboard: Fujitsu Dual Socket 1366

PSU: 700Watt EVGA 80Plus Bronze

SSD: Crucial 500GB 2.5”

OS: Ubuntu server

I also have some old parts from my last pc laying around and I was thinking, maybe I could use them.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X

Motherboard: ASUS Prime X570-P ATX

SSD: Kioxia 500GB 2.5”

PSU: Master Cooler 600 Watt - probably 80Plus Bronze

GPU: RX 5700XT

If I would use my old CPU I was thinking about getting a 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz kit. There will probably run about 2 or 3 games on the server.

If there are any questions feel free to ask them.

Thanks in advance for your time and help.
