GPU issues - high gpu usage, but low performance and low power consumption

maor9391

Hey all

i have a weird problem

when I’m gaming the gpu is on 99% utilization but only using 250-300w and the fps is very low

in stress test the gpu using the all 475w and performance are ok I think

any suggestions?

With all the Trolls, Try Hards, Noobs and Weirdos around here you'd think i'd find SOMEWHERE to fit in!

what are you calling a 'low framerate'?

download a program called GPUZ. install and run it.

Should look like this1606628164_Screenshot2022-07-02234914.png.190b75965514b9a3a7a28e8e8b9d7e0f.png

Check the marked area is all up to snuff.  Could be your GPU is only running at a lower link rate.  If it is you need to reseat the GPU buy powering down and pulling it out and pushing it back in

Everything seems to be ok, pcie x16 and bios is on pcie gen4.

if there was a problem with the hardware I think the stress test didn’t use all the 475w
