Is this fast enough to play a FPS on? Some writing in games is to small to read, even with glasses. Since windows magnifier doesn't work with 3d programs, this is a good option.

It's 60hz refresh rate, 6ms gtg respond time. Most people would say no, it is not adequate for playing FPS games at a competiive level.

If you want text to be bigger, you would be better off getting a big (27" or more) 1080p display, not a tiny display like this.

Your "PC master race" thing is cringe.

SAMSUNG SR35 Series 27 inch FHD 1920x1080 Flat Desktop Monitor for Working or Learning, HDMI, D-Sub, Wall mountable good then, a touch screen would be cool.

75hz is better than 60 but most people would say still not nearly enough for playing shooters at a high level.

You're probably not going to find a good high refresh rate gaming monitor that's also a touch screen.

If making things easier to see is the goal, heck a ~32" 1080p TV would be an option. Its clear PPI isn't a concern, possibly even a detriment so might as well make things as easy to see as possible.

Get something 27" 1080p 144hz monitor.

I seldom recommended 1080p for 27" but if big text is concern then 1080p on 27" is the sweet spot.

For the 144hz also depends your GPU can handle or not. This depends on version of HDMI or DP.
