CPU Fan error

hi

just built new pc and getting this error on the "Black screen with specs on it"

CPU Fan Error !

no clue what it is talking about as all my fans are running (+ AIO) and the RGB for the fans

I'm not sure what the problem is, can someone help?

Check the motherboard manual and make sure that you plugged the aio into the right header.

Have you got the fan for the cpu plugged into the CPU header?

im  sure it is. the pump is on

This is pretty common as with some AIO's or other various fan setups, you won't use the CPU fan header. 

 

If you're certain there IS something plugged in, verify you're getting an RPM reading from that header in the BIOS. Usually in that same spot, you'll get an option to ignore any alarms for nothing being plugged in.

 

With my EK AIO setup im' not using the CPU_FAN header so I have it set to ignore.
