Some of shortcuts are not showing up on File Explorer desktop

Hello

I just found out that some of my shortcuts are not showing on File Explorer desktop side.

I do not have any other user but one but it seems like those shortcut that is not showing on File explorer side is on my public user desktop side.

 

 

As you can see one of the shortcut that was not showing was on public side and i created new short cut for chrome and now its on May30 user.

I have no idea why some of shortcut is on username side and some are on public user side.

Or maybe my system files are just corrupted?

Public is not a user account that you log into or access.

I've got a discrepancy between my Desktop (the thing with the wallpaper on it) and the Desktop folder view in Windows Explorer.

chrome shortcut will be there on my Desktop (wallpaper side) but in the Desktop folder view in Windows Explorer will not have a shortcut for chrome.
