Where can I download the newest version of windows 10 on the official website? I always assumed we could not.

It's an installer tool that'll go build a USB drive with the latest version.  You'll get prompted at some point during the reinstall for the license key.

I checked the INF in the first i225 driver (25.0)...it also seems to require 1709 minimum version of windows 10.  I think you're going to need to do the INF hack or just get a newer ISO of Win 10 to install from.

Honestly, its so much less hassle using the latest ISO anyway.  Waiting for all the updates to install will take so much longer.

Also if it IS the B3 variant of the i225-V, which we hope it is (the others have nasty issues) I'm not sure that would be supported on the older drivers anyway.

That video is all very well, but hacking drivers is never a good idea.  Driver signing was invented for a reason, to stop nefarious drivers from being installed.  Plus you'd probably have to do the hack every time you update the driver.

Yeah I assume Win 10 probably got updated along the way to include i225 driver by default.   Otherwise everyone would be having OP's problem where they don't even have a network device to use windows update to get other drivers.

And I think you're right, the first version doesn't support the rev03 that OP has.  They'd have to INF hack the newest driver.

I don't think so, had to install it on Win 11 if I recall correctly.
