Did i buy wrong set of ram?

Hello, i have currently setup with aorus b450, amd ryzen 5 2600, and 2x8gb set of ram Vengeance LPX 3000mhz.

My problem started when i decided to upgrade with another 16 gb. I buy same ram but i coudln;t find package 16gb(2x8) so i bought 2 sticks 8 gb ram.

When i put them in, my pc recognize them correctly but my hell started. Computer was 2-3 times slower, even booting was much slower. When i took those rams out, everything back to normal. When i take out my old set, and put those two it works slower than orginal set, but better when 32gb was installed.

So my question, may it be caused because i bought two single 8 gbs? Even if they have same parameters?

I attach picture of my new rams clearly it says 8gb, on my old in this place is 16gb(2x8).

What else have you tried aside from swapping the ram sticks ?
Tried resetting CMOS yet ?
Is the parameters all the same with your old ram ?

There is approximately 99% chance I edited my post

Ryzen 2000 IMC struggled above 3000Mhz. Many settled for 2933Mhz, some could get as high as 3200Mhz. Adding extra RAM adds extra strain on the IMC, which may limit the speed it is able to achieve.

Please list the exact model numbers of the RAM you have, both new and old.

Assuming that checks out, try installing the new RAM with the old as you did before, enable XMP (or DOCP), and then manually reduce the speed from 3000 to 2666 to see if that helps.

4 sticks of RAM is not the best option with 2nd gen Ryzen.

Version of the new RAM is 3.32. What's the version number of your old RAM?

The only option in bios with xmp was 3000 speed, couldn't lower that, only 3000 or xmp disabled and then 2133 mhz

Can you manually "overclock" the RAM by setting the timings written on the module and a lower frequency (for example 2866)?

OK, so I couldn't change anything but those 3 options at the end.

I tried with XMp disabled, I changed timings settings to manual but still couldn't change anything. And the only profile available to me is :

3.32 is Micron Rev. H, 4.32 is Samsung C-die. That's not gonna work very well together. Better get a 2x16GB kit if you want 32GB.
