Competitive Gaming (low Graphic => ~240FPS is my target, 1920x1080)

Overwatch, Fortnite, Apex

 

Casual Gaming (100+ FPS decent graphics, 1920x1080)

Is your Friend psu so bad that you dont want to say what it is?

I wouldn't get such a high end GPU. You're going to run into a CPU bottleneck with these settings which isn't ideal. A 3060 or RX 6600 should be more than enough. If you plan on upgrading to 1440 the 3070 should be fine.

 

Also what PSU is it?

Oh I thought 12600k is the best CPU for gaming, i thought the 12700 will only improve by having more cores wich is not needed when gaming

No I'm talking about the graphics card (GPU). With a card like that and the competitive settings on already easy to run games any CPU will be the bottleneck, even a 5800X3D or 12900KS

Ok so I could easily use 1440p and not have much lower FPS?

Yeah performance difference won't be too big. Also that PSU is fine.

Ah OK, thanks for the advice man, then I might buy a 1440p monitor to try out the new resolution 😄
