Is there a way to add single swipe log in to a Windows machine?

Juliper

I would like to turn on my PC AND log into it by just one swipe. I think Lenovo has a feature like this and Asus too i think. Is there a way to add that to a Windows machine? There are many USB fingerprint readers but idk if they support that feature.

If you want your PC to login automatically when you turn it on, you can add an auto login user to the registry. That way you just press the power button and windows will load up and log you in.

Best way is to just use Microsoft SysInternal's Autologon tool rather than amending the registry manually: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autologon

That would leave the PC unprotected, they're talking of the feature of many laptops that have a fingerprint reader in the power button, when you press it to power on it reads the fingerprint and caches it so that if it was correct it logs you in without having to put the finger on the sensor again once the PC has booted.
