Windows keyboard problem (Software-side, maybe sticky keys?)

etienneoh

Hi,

I am having an issue with my Acer laptop running Windows 11, where my keyboard has some very weird behavior which makes it unusable. What i've understood is that the windows key is always pressed (Happens on the built-in keyboard, an external keyboard and the on-screen keyboard), so if I press "E", it is the same thing as "Win"+"E".  I have confirmed that my sticky keys are already disabled and that the key isn't physically pressed in either. I do not know what else to do and my searches on Google all lead to the same thing (Go disable sticky keys.)

Thanks in advance.

How old is the laptop? Sounds like driver/firmware issue more than anything else. And as such would be subject for RMA.
