New I9-10850k + be quiet dark rock pro 4 100c????

Enigma776

I have a new build an i9-10850k and a be quiet dark rock pro 4 but the damn thing cooks at 100c which I don't think is right or good for it. Should I change to an AIO or is the dark rock pro 4 good enough and its just something not quite right? its on a Asus tuf z490 plus board.

We have such sights to show you.

What case? There's a big difference between an open test bench and an NZXT H510 (for instance).

Have you tried reinstalling the cooler?

The case is a Be Quiet Pure base 600, it has an intake and exhaust fan. Ambient temps around 20-25c. The cooler is on as much as it can be which is why it has me puzzled.

Under what conditions is it hitting 100C?

What is the idle temp in BIOS and how does it behave (stable or ramping up)?
