Could someone help me confirm that all the parts for my dream PC are all compatible and that everything will fit? I'm new to the PC building scene

Yeah im a razer nut. About the sound card and wifi and lots of fans ig I just got lost in the sauce looking through the optional stuff and got a lot I didnt need

Makes sense! If you can splurge for the Case you could get it, but there plenty of other cases out there with integrated rgb and you could just get a nice green and black rgb theme which is just as good Imo!

Here is my part list

Here is the amazon wishlist which includes the PWM fan controller and RGB controller thingamabob

I was hoping somebody with lots of PC building experience could help me make sure this all would fit / run properly because its a lot of money

also i was just noticing this, there are 2 usb headers that are unused, so will that mean i'll only have 2 usb ports??

What are you using the PC for? It seems really unbalanced.

Some things I noticed:

  • Probably wouldn't get that cooler, that's an insane price for something like that.
  • The 3060 is pretty under powered if you're going to be gaming.
  • You don't need the 980 Pro. I'd get a cheaper drive.
  • You probably don't need a sound card, especially if you're getting a cheap one like that. Take the budget from the sound card and WiFi module and get a better motherboard that incorporates both. I wouldn't get an MSI motherboard.
  • Case is ridiculously priced for what you're getting, and likely has abysmal airflow.
  • $220 on fans? Just. No. Also, why are you buying so many? If you have to have them, the AIO already has it's own.

Over all I think you need to do a lot of thought about where you've put your money in the build. Cut down on the fans, get a more reasonable cooler and case, and you can easily get a 3070 and have a significantly better system.

the usb headers dont have anything to do with the back usb they just handle the fron usb amd one of those can handle multiple usb ports

Do you have a love for the razer branded items or are you just assuming theyre good quality cuz theyre a well known brand? If you're really into the case sure you can get it, but the fans are definitely overkill. the kit @Somerandomtechyboiput together is a much better build. Mainly because theirs doesnt have an seperate sound card, wifi card, and 200$ fans.

Thanks for the tips, but how many case fans would you recommend? is even 3 too much? Are they even necessary?

Lets just say the entire thing can be sent to hell (everything is either overpriced and/or useless)

Far superior system for less

Is the gpu quality that important it takes up almost half the cost? Sheesh
