FYI...Upgrading VM/W8 to W10...(set CPU cores to "one")

Trying to upgrade VM/W8 to W10.
(W8 at EOL)

W10 update kept failing and failing.
Tried 3-4 Online solutions. No luck.

Finally one message mentioned changing
CPU core setting to "ONE" in VM
and that did it!

 

Talk about grasping at straws!
