New build, no video signal

TheRonen

Hey guys,

I have a problem with a new computer I built, its my first time Ryzen PC and I have a strange problem that I did not have with Intel,
The computer turns on, the fans turn on but I get no signl error on 2 diffrent screens
I tried :
1. Check that I have connected all the power cables from the power supply to the board, everything is connected
2. I reset BIOS, no help
3. I checked with another power supply, not helping
4. I checked only to be sure that the board and processor are compatible, yes they are
5. I connected some external video cards but still no display on the screen

6. tries posting with one ram sticlk, same

PC Spec :

Mobo : Asus Prime A520M-A

CPU : Ryzen 5 5600G

Anyone have any ideas?

Maybe try checking for bent pins on your CPU, if that seems fine, I'd check for the EZ Debug post LED, and check what lights turn on. Also check if your motherboard is looping (turning off and on)

hey

no bent pins, this board does not have any LED to indicate any problems, and the pc stays on, no loop, stays on and no display

I mean it could be as simply as trying another HDMI or DP cable, since you tried a external GPU and it didn't work either.

Make sure you plug the monitor cable to the back of the GPU and not into one of mobo sockets.

Pfft, this is a tricky one, I'm thinking maybe your CPU is defective or your motherboard is defective and not giving power to your CPU, I wish you had another AM4 motherboard to try your CPU on and see if that makes it work, sorry if I'm not help

i think i know what the problem is, this board support this CPU from bios ver 1401 and the board came with 0305 ver,

i dont see any other option to update the bios via usb without cpu,

any ideas ?

Ask the shop you bought the MB from to update the BIOS.

Does AMD still have the Lend CPU's for upgrading bios on board not supporting CPUless biosupgrade?

I think they do,

it will take a lot of time,
