Fallout 4 vs New vegas

I know many if you have good knowledge regarding every series of fallout. So I thought to share this post with all of you.

 

I'm pretty much confused which one should I play fallout 4 or NV...

 

Looking for your valuable suggestions...

New Vegas is better. No semicompulsory base building for one. 

4 looks of course better because it's a newer game, but most other aspects are in favour of New Vegas.

Story is good

Other than that the prementioned games are in the same series, made in similar engines is the closest common thing.

The 4 is just "made for everyone", New Vegas still had some of the charm of earlier games.

New Vegas is obviously the better RPG with more depth and choice. FO4 does look better and the gunplay is less clunky.

 

I guess the question right now comes from the fact that both are discounted on steam

Whichever you choose (unless you get both) I can only recommend to get a pack with all DLCs, just to avoid any issued that might come once you start modding. Some mods will require certain DLCs. And having all from the start also means you can experience the full game from the start.
