That's G-Sync! G-Sync actually changes the refresh rate of your monitor to match the content. Most are capable of going down to 40 Hz.

When fps gets sub 60 or sub 40 fps, your Monitor isn't capable of turning its Refresh rate down that low so it flickers. I would assume the loading screen is 1-30 fps causing this.

Sorry I probably edited my post. Refresh plz. Build Specs Below.

That's just how G-Sync functions. More expensive monitors will have less flickering, but once the fps drops below the minimum Hz of the panel it will flicker.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Youre mixing something up. Most monitors don't have a flickering backlight anymore, no matter the refresh rate. What you're saying applies when BFI is enabled and it works together with VRR. Then the flicker changes depending on the refresh rate.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
