Keyboard has long button press recognition? Can you fix it?

So I bought a mechanical keyboard for the first time ever and there is one thing that is bothering the hell out of me. Whenever I press a button that is a part of a hotkey, let us say I press windows key and 3 seconds or more after that r it will still work. Can I somehow shorten that or what is happening I have no clue and it is frankly quite annoying. I would be in a clutch situation in apex or R6 and I would open radeon menu or some other shit because it registered it as a hotkey after a few seconds.(The keyboard is a redragon k552 bought it with the intention of buying new switches they do not have them in stock now so I am waiting for them some silver switches do not know the name of the top of my head).

It's a bit rambly, so I'm not entirely sure I follow... are you sure you don't have Sticky Keys turned on?

Is there software for your keyboard? You could probably turn that off somewhere in there. To be honest with you I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about haha but take a look in the software if there is any.

There is a software do not know how to word it correctly, I will try like this if I press a key and hold it it should register as being still pressed right? well it still registers the key as pressed, even tough I let go of it, until I press a different key. The keys are not getting stuck but the software registers it as still being pressed even after letting go. Did I make any sense if not I will make a video about it with a keyboard tester to show what I am exactly talking about.

Nah, stick keys are off always were off.

Sticky keys were off but for some damn reason windows registered them as on so I had to reset them and turn them off and on in multiple ways to get them to stop working. Thanks fot the help and f windows.
