Dualsense for PC - share your experience plz

Guten Tag. 😉

So Dualsense controllers were on sale and I got one for 45 bucks. I know it is not really plug-n-play, but I still want to make the most of it.

TLDR: Where can I fully utilize a dualsense controller on PC? (native support in games, launchers) NOT emulation as x360 controller, as I can already do that and it is nice, but I am wondering about native.

I know about DS4 and how to use it in Steam games "natively" and that has been pretty straight forward. The controller is very nice (I also have x360 wireless and an 8bitdo Pro 2) and I would love to do a little more with it like *drumroll* adaptive triggers and maybe haptic feedback. Now I also know that it has not been well implemented, but documentation seems very spotty. I have read that e.g. Borderlands 3 supports it on PC an then again not, the I read that EPIC's launcher supports it, but it doesn't really for me....I am a bit confused and I also don't want to play around and test for hours, just to find out that it will never work.
I am completely fine if all I can do is use DS4 and emulate an X360 controller, but I would also love to get a bit more value out of that thing.

Alright, so does that mean I can manually add adaptive trigger support? I don't really get it. I mean, a game won't recognize the dualsense as native controller?

Again, I have DS4, but I have only used it to play as if it was an X360 controller.

Edit: DS4 kinda supports adaptive triggers... But not really. You can set it to one option...that's not adaptive really...
