Monitor wont detect pc signal

Good day guys

 

I have an acer monitor that has an issue that it doesnt detect pc at all it needs to be restarted a few times to work. My relative has a new built system but has limited budget so we have to use this monitor for now. the monitor is very weird after taken out of storage its works fine no problems. After a few days of use the problem start appearing again needs 2-3 minutes of restarts to make it work. Today its almost impossible to make it work. i wonder if anyone has an idea of what is causing this? thanks
