New Build, applications slowly stop responding till comp freezes

Hello,

 

Since I built my new computer I am having the problem where I will notice one program stop responding and then within 3-5 min every program stops responding and then the computer freezes. Doesn't seem to matter what programs are open, or games being played. Have a NVME and SSD. I've unplugged SSD and still does it. Any ideas would be great!

Have a look at task manager when this starts to happen, look at memory usage. Sounds like the behavior of a PC that starts to swap, before running out of memory entirely. Sort programs by memory usage, see if one starts to use more and more.
