Is it safe to buy a 3060 now

I just checked the price cuz I have enough money saved up and pc partpicker has 3060s from 420-450$ and I'm not sure if a new generation is about to come out or something.

 

I also probably need to upgrade my power supply

A new generation is always "about to come out." 

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

I think it is but its always best guess.  As Middcore said, there is always a new model coming, you just have to commit and enjoy.

Go for an 80+ GOLD PSU, and I would recommend an EVGA RTX 3060.
