Phanteks waterblock crashing computer?

Butterednutz

This is a pretty minor problem, but I just recently set up a custom loop for my pc. I got this g30 phanteks block for my gpu but I cannot get the lighting to work. I've plugged it into my lighting node hub and into the motherboard header. Sometimes it will light up, but when it does it basically bricks my computer. It will post then lose display immediately or just restart the computer and make the problem worse. I've checked cables and reseated everything. This only happens when I try to plug in the rgb that everything goes haywire. Its not a huge issue but I hate missing out on the RGB goodness, especially for how much I payed for it. Any idea's  of why or suggestions to fix would be greatly appreciated!

You need phanteks d-rgb controller it's not a standard rgb interface you are basically shorting your computer when you plug it into the board or current fan controller.
