ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus

The TUF X570 is a pretty good board, the power delivery is sufficient even for a 5950X and it's not lacking in features either.

I was just wondering if the ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus is still a good motherboard to have (I have a 3080ti and a 5600x) im not sure if ill need to upgrade to match the graphics and cpu

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

Beware, the small chipset fan can be quite loud and that happens quite often.

Honestly I've never audibly noticed it, as it's covered completely by my GPU. If I manually crank the speed then yeah for sure, but in daily use it blends in with the rest of the fans. I should note as well that I don't have the quietest case fans, cooling is more of a priority lol.

You can't manually crank the speed on that tiny fan. It's regulated by the bios.

No, you can't. It's the same as on my X570-P and you can change the values (even with some other tools) but it doesn't affect the fan.

Well I don't know what to say. I'm able to control it with FanControl. I've tested stopping it and maxing it out and can even apply a curve to it. I just let it run at its stock settings though.
