Msi mpg X570 gaming plus - Bios flashback blinking 3 times. (Ryzen 5000 series)

MultiGamerClub

Currently having the need to switch to this X570 board and I don't have a 2000 or 3000 series processor.

Its been unopened since the guy Buyed this motherboard at launch.

But now that I only have a 5000 series processor I was hoping to bios flash it to the latest version so it supports ryzen 5000 series.

But it's only blinking 3 times before the light goes away.. So what can I do?

Made the USB stick fat32, then named the bios file to msi.rom.

Not sure what I can do now, guess I'll have to get a 2000 series or 3000 series processor in some way or another to update the motherboard?

I'm forced to his motherboard as my B550 tuf pro and corsair vengeance memory is failing and is getting sent back for Rma/repairs.

Followed this guide, ended up converting my 16gb usb to MBR, format it to fat32 and limit the space to 3gb and it damn started updating..

All thanks to this guy and his comment section:

My PC seems to be flashing and updating.. Hoping for the best..

But damn, the fan on the mmotherboard is going 100% 🤣

Flashed pc.. Woo.

Now it's not showing any signal towards the graphics card / boot led on the motherboard... Oof.

Showing red on vga and boot, but then I hear windows sounds of it doing something in the background.

🤔

I'm very confused, should have booted straight into windows now🤔
