EVGA GTX 1060 6GB Overclock for VR performance, new to overclocking

I've had my PC for almost 4 years, and it has worked relatively well since I built it. I am considering overclocking my CPU and GPU, although it might be best to just focus on the GPU for now. My main reason for overclocking is to get better performance out of some VR games (I have a Quest 2 linked with a USB cable on SteamVR). I am very new to overclocking, but I believe I have a general understanding of the process. I'm just not sure which software I need, since there are several options as far as I know. Also, I did check the CPU and GPU overclocking databases, and did not see my CPU or GPU listed. I could add mine if everything works out well. If there's any specific software I should use, or any general advice, please let me know.
