What should I use to check CPU and GPU temps?

I tried using CPUID HWMonitor and CPUID CPU-Z but I can't really figure out what to look at. Are these good softwares to use for checking stuff? Should I use something else or try and figure out how those work? Idk if there are any paid options, but if there are I don't want those. Just free softwares that are safe to download of course.

Also what are normal temps for the i5-11600K? I'm using the Scythe Mugen 5 Rev.B with the thermal paste that came with it.

HWiNFO is great. CPUZ doesn't give you temps. GPUZ gives you one temp figure but that's not as detailed as HWiNFO. (You'd want the 64 version)

This is what you'd be looking at, you can expand the menus to get temps for each core and see whcih ones are throttling if any. And you also get GPU temps, hard drive stats, memory temp on certain systems...

Ok, that makes more sense I think. Thanks. Do you know what temps I should be getting with my cpu cooler and the 11600K or should I just look it up?
