Black screen after returning to my PC.

 Share

I was away from my PC and returned to a black screen. Not as black when my monitor's turned off but like when i turn it on and then RIGHT after it shows anything (if that makes sense). I force restarted it since it was unresponsive and it started back up fast as usual as if nothing had happened. Ran a sfc scan on cmd and no integrity violations were found.

All i was able to find was 2 critical errors in the event viewer mentioning something about my headset and something about my PC rebooting without cleanly shutting down first. Got some images and a video attached.

I have had issues with my headset in the past causing BSOD and i solved by blocking razer synapse from accessing the internet. Would anyone be able to confirm that it is the culprit or likelihood of?

Thanks!

My 5900X build does this when it goes to sleep and cannot wake. I, too, have to restart. Try disabling sleep mode under Power and Sleep in Windows and see if that helps.

OP: My PC cuts off and crashes. Is the 1000W PSU enough?  ME: 1000W is plenty, PSU or system board could be faulty. Get both tested.

OP: I don't think so, both parts were purchased last week.        😒  Why bother asking if you second-guess the advice?

It's already disabled, i don't like putting my PC to sleep so i dont use that feature i simply leave it on. The screen turns off after 15min which turns it back on when i press any key or mouse button
