People on discord can hear everything i'm listening to perfectly on my headset

Recently purchased a new headset but now if i'm playing youtube or spotify everyone on discord can hear what i'm playing crystal clear as if it's being played through there own headsets it's not sounds bleeding into the mic my headset it just playing everything i'm listening to through discord somehow, i've googled  this and it seems to be a problem for a few people although even after hours of searching i can't find to find a fix please help 

 

I've tired going into sound settings and checking that recording isn't on "stereo mix" i've played around with alot of my sound settings and looks in discord settings and can't seem to find a fix.

Hyperx cloud alpha although when i've googled this problem it dosn't seem to be specific to just this headset but hyperx headsets do seem to come up the most when i was looking.

Is it only discord?

Also, is the headset wireless?

i havn't tired any other voice programs so i'm not sure.

i should also mention i've tired using one of those cheap external sound cards and it does the same with and without it.

it's a wired headset, i've also reset  all my "voice & video" settings in discord and still no change.

EDIT: also i've tired updating my drivers under device manager and everything was up to date.

Okay, So now, for whatever reason i've taken out my external sound card and i can't get my mic to work at all now on discord. i've  just got the 3.5mm jacks in the back of my PC.

Okay following this video seemed to of fixed the audio play back issue but now i literally have to scream into my mic for it to even detect my voice and even then it's bearly picking it up at all. i've tired playing with voice boosted in microsoft settings and discord sens but nothing so far, also i'm not sure if it's just not picking up my music as it can't even really acitive my mic at all which wouldn't be much of a fix.

So after playing around with the settings in discord and windows and following this video it's completely fixed the problem, thank you MadAnt250
