I build a PC for a friend too. I got these parts for 1000 Euro = 1.100 USD

CPU: Intel Core i5 11400F

CPU cooler: 120mm Alpenföhn EKL Dolomit Advanced

Mainboard: Gigabyte B560M Aorus Elite 1.0 mATX

RAM: 2x 8GB Crucial Ballistix RGB

SSD: 1TB Crucial P2
Power supply: Corsair RM750 (2021)

Case: Phanteks Eclipse P300A Mesh

Case fans: 3x Alpenföhn "Wing Boost 3" 120x120x25

The difference is:
more money for a better graphics card,

less money for a K-series CPU, you can't overclock anyway with your very cheap mainboard,

more money on motherboard features,

SSD, no HDD so the storage will be less but silent and fast.
