Need a 3.5mm to USB adapter

Hey there,

I need recommendations for a 3.5mm headphone to USB (preferable USB-C) adapter, and I need a good one that will support the sound of a rode lav mic and ensure that the sound quality is better than the mic I'm replacing, a Vive Cosmos.

its well 41k/48k which is good enough.

(which needs to be manually selected in windows)

An analog-to-digital coversion should be easy enough, even with that cheap adaptor. It might not be the cleanest sounding interface in the world, but I doubt you'll push it to the extremes using a lav mic.

The cleanliness of the ADC interface itself would become an issue before the bit-depth or sample rate. Lol. There's probably a decent amount of noise within the audible range (-120dB), which is something the spec sheet won't tell you unfortunately. Great specs can still sound terrible in practice, luckily this isn't a studio application.

My head is too tired for electrical engineering, I have heard problems with the units using 3v instead of 5v

as the noise floor
