2080 Super owners, report here your performance in games (2022)

frozensun

Hi 2080 S owners.

Lets share opinion on how good the chip is in 2022.

Me, gaming at 1440p usually all max details depending on the game, I usually get 50 fps+.

Only as far as I can remember Cyberpunk pushed hard on it, so I uninstalled the game.

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,聽 it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

CP2077 pushed hard on the card so you uninstalled it

Actually had me laughing lol, nice one bro 馃檪

I have a regular 2080 which is 3-5 FPS diference

I usually play cs and forza 5 on a 1080p 240hz monitor but i also have a 4K tv

At FHD I ran Forza at max extreme settings and I get around 80-90 FPS (with a very slight overclock)

Pretty much every games that I've played I managed to max at FHD (FPS games ran at 150+ or 200+ depends on the game)

Forza 3, 4, 5, GTA V, BL3, CP2077, RDR2, OW1, NFS PayBack, Heat , Rivals (yeah lol), Dying light 1, The Crew 2, BF2042, Warzone, BO3, Elder's Ring, Project Cars 1, 2, No Man's Sky, WD 1, 2

Like you said, the only game that the 2080 really struggled with was cyberpunk

Warzone had its issues with every update

I've tried a few of the at 4K and I got around 50-70 fps on max/second max settings

In some on those game my 2080 was paired with my old I5 3550 which I overclocked to 4.2GHz

The sad part is that the rgb is no longer working and idk why so maybe ill have to use my warranty and if so ill probably get a 3060Ti which is a real bummer

I have Gigabyte's AORUS version which is the most beautiful gpu that I've ever seen and I don't want to lose that lightshow

It's really stupid. RTX 2080 Super runs without problem on Cyberpunk 2077.

I had a previous Gigabyte RTX 2080 Super Gaming OC and I played +500 hours on Cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p without problem. It ran about 35 fps (my CPU is not overclocked, it runs at 3.4-3.6GHz and DDR4-2133). The quality and ray tracing was set at Ultra. DLSS was set quality or balanced (I don't remember)

Dude, 35 fps is not playable.

I know I played games at 14 fps but FPS games are barely playable < 60 fps.

Cyberpunk is probably badly optimized.

Cyberpunk 2077 isn't Counter-Striker: Global Offensive who need very high FPS.

Ennemies in Cyberpunk 2077 are enough stupids, it's easy to kill them when you are good ranged shooter. Even with 35 FPS.

See this video (Quality Psycho / RT Psycho / DLSS quality. So it's more heavy than Ultra & DLSS balanced) :

Even with 25 FPS, it's no problem to kill enemies because they are so stupids, it's not like CS:GO 馃槀

As I said, I played +500 hours and I died very rare in this game...

I wonder how did he got such low GPU temp.

Mine is around 68 C under load.
