M.2 stopped being detected in bios

Echoez

Hey guys,

I was trying to mess with tpm 2.0 and secure boot in my bios one day so I could play valorant again. And since then my m.2 which has windows on it doesn’t appear in bios and I can’t fully boot my computer. Sometimes I get stuck in a bios loop or it will tell me that I’m missing the right boot drive and to plug one in and press any key. Please help

Step 1: Go to the boot menu on startup and see if your M.2 appears. If not...

Step 2: Reset CMOS. If it still doesn't boot automatically, repeat step 1. Sometimes Windows just needs to be reminded, for lack of a better term. If that fails...

Step 3: Remove and reinsert the M.2 drive

Odds are a CMOS reset fixes it

So I was able to fix it by disabling nvme raid mode. Is that going to cause problems in the future?
