4th Gen Nvidia Shield?

Jerry202

Does anybody know if there will be a new Nvidia Shield soon? I want to buy one but I'm worried about getting the 2019 version and seeing one come out in a few months.

I'm not aware of a new iteration of the Shield being released soon. My 2019 Pro unit is still doing just fine. What functionality are you worried about?

@tikker mostly want to know if it's going to have Wi-Fi 6 and I just want it mainly because of the AI 4K upscaling. Just got a TCL 5 Series and the upscaling on it is not the best, to put it in decent terms.

We don't know if a new model is even in the works for any reasonably near future, let alone if it'll support Wi-Fi 6. The AI upscaling can be nice. In my opinion there's no harm in buying one now if the AI upscaling is the main feature you want. I've been using the 2019 Pro for 1-2 years now and it's great.
