3080TI FTW3 + Apevia 800w (Non - Modular)

Hey all was just gifted this FTW3 3080ti as a graduation gift and I was curious if my current PSU will suffice at least for the time until Im able to by a new one. My current PSU is an 800w 80+ Gold Apevia since its what i could afford at the time unfortunately. My concern is that the psu has only 2 dedicated cables for 8-pin BUT they do have another 6+2 that is attached to the same cable just not dedicated on to its own. Will this suffice for at least a little while like maybe a week? or is this a total No-go dont do it. Any advice is appreciated!

Which apevia? There are multiple gold units all of them being at best meh.

 

I would not use this psu with a 3080ti. Just wait and get a proper psu.

I'm honestly not super sure. Thats good to know though thank you! I know corsair 850's aren't all that much so that's probably the route we'll go if all else fails. I just wanted to make sure whether or not like will I totally fry the card doing that or if itll be ok for a bit but appreciate your reply!

What 2x psu's to power a single gpu? It works but like use good quality units for that.
