Do you have hybrid mode on? Are you sure it's not the fan turning on and off? If it's constant while the fan is moving, then yes I would exchange.

Picked up a Seasonic FOCUS series SSR-750FM today and thought everything was good bit I noticed on idle I hear a faint clicking sound. So I took the psu out of my pc to manually stop the fan to see if that was producing the noise. When I stopped the fan the clicking stopped. Is faint clicking normal for the fan or should I return it.

Ended up exchanging it for a corsair psu. The new one is nice and silent
