My android phone randomly stopped accepting the correct password

Hello,

My phone has randomly stopped accepting the correct password  after I locked it after I took a couple of pictures.

I know it's the correct password because I have been using the same password for my lock screen from the past 4 years and I have never forgotten it. I can't use the fingerprint or face unlock because it shows the message "Password required for additional security"

 

It's like system has corrupted or forgotten the screen lock data.

Unfortunately, we cannot help you with bypassing or breaking your password, it would be a breach of forum rules.

 

I do suggest that maybe, your cracked screen may be the culprit here an possibly you strike the correct key due to that. Its a possibility. If you backup your phone, I would suggest doing a factory reset, then restoring your device, that is the common method if your password is unrecoverable.
