Games crashing after 15 secs but not GPU benchmarks like FurMark.

Specs :
GPU : RTX 3060

CPU: I5-12400F

RAM:16 Gigs 3200mhz

MOBO: B660m gaming by Gigabyte

PSU: 650w Gigabyte bronze rated

Issue :
I have in total 12 of these PC' made as i own a Gaming cafe.
1 PC' is causing issues in which whenever i run a game it crashes in 10-20 secs. games tried CSGO, Valorant, Pubg. (In valorant the error says GPU drivers crashes make sure drivers are updated) other games don't give errors just crash. Whereas benchmarks like FurMark and userbenchmark run fine without crashing.

Things tried already:
Reinstalled GPU drivers (clean install)
Reinstalled DirectX

Reinstalled all c++ redistributables

Reinstalled windows 10
Removed and inserted the GPU back to make sure it's in properly.
Reinstalled all the games.

The first time the issue came i reinstalled windows and installed valorant but it crashed then i installed all the games especially PUBG, after that it worked fine for 3-4 Days without crashing. But after that is crashed again.
I thought maybe it was missing a C++ redistributable but after the crash i repaired and reinstalled those but no luck. No clue what is the issue here is it the GPU.

FurMark was running for 10mins and it shows max temp as 780C . At 8xmsaa 1080p

Swap the GPU from another PC. If same problem, swap the PSU as well. If same problem, most probably mainboard.

Have you tried switching the PCIe setting to Gen 3?

Gigabyte had a recent issue with another of their Gaming series Intel boards (the Z690-I Gaming) where PCIe Gen 4 didn't work, and it even resulted in a recall. Perhaps your board series was also affected by the issue.

In the BIOS there should be a setting for what PCIe version you want the slot to run at. You can change the setting from Auto to Gen 3 to limit it to PCIe Gen 3 speeds.

In terms of performance difference between Gen 4 and Gen 3, for a 3060 there should actually be no difference whatsoever, as PCIe speeds really only start to matter for games on that level of GPU when you are VRAM limited, which the 12GB 3060 will never be.

So, I swapped the GPU with another spare one and it is working without any issues. So, I guess the problem was the GPU. But, I don't understand what could be the problem with the GPU it runs fine in benchmarks. It only crashes when i launch a game. Should i just RMA it. Or try flashing bios. also checked the BIOS version on both the GPU and they are the same. Should i flash bios anyway.

Furmark is more like a power virus, runs the card under a much higher load then games, card is probably stable while running furmark because it's not clocking up as high.

You could check/monitor clock speeds with something like MSI Afterburner.

Try an underclock on the core and run the games and see what happens.

Since you've tried another card and the system is now working one can assume it's most likely the card, might just have to RMA that one card.
