Rtx 3060 ti + 550w psu=Fire in my house?

If prices go down to $500 for a 3060 ti i might get it but does it work with a 550w mwe black coolermaster psu?I currently have a i5 10400,h410m h v2 mobo,3 case fans ,kingston 256gb ssd,1tb external hhd what are the power consumption of those components and will it work?

It should work. I have a stronger system (power-draw wise) on a bit better 550W PSU and it works fine.

I am planing to buy a same GPU and I think you better buy a 650w golden power supply

Horrible buy, do not pay that much for a pathetic 650 or 550, you can get an 850w for that price

 

Ik 550w isnt ideal but who gives a crap as long as it works

Yea I know, I did see that 650w and 850w are the same price, and I am planing to buy the 850W

Thats right not even bronze if only my parents knew they could save money by buying a better psu.Anyways the last time i asked this 2 people just recommended me to buy a 850 watt psu not even answering my question

A 10400 and 3060 Ti will be fine with 550W. 

 

This is in comparison to a more power-hungry 5900X and 3080, in game (CP2077) maxing out the GPU and partial CPU load consumes about 520W
