Transferring video files through USB flash and chromebook

I have a pc that I play cod:vanguard on and I clip it using geforce experience and need to transfer it to my chromebook for editing. Can I just copy+paste the files to a thumbdrive then plug it in and have it just work.

Your PC will be quite a bit better than a Chromebook at video editing

Not so much. It's an i5-4590 and gtx 1650 w/8gb ram. I try to optimize it only for gaming. Because of me frequently cleaning, debloating, etc I can get a decent fps in vanguard. I don't think it can handle any editing. The laptop isn't as powerful but is only for editing and stuff

What software did you plan to edit with? How long is your clip and with what quality?

And regardless, your desktop will stomp that Chromebook if you want to do anything beyond basic clipping.

But to answer your question, it will be fine. And if not, you can always upload to Drive and download clip from there.
