Weird problem from going from a curved monitor to a flat one.. It curves from the middle to the edges.

MultiGamerClub

So ive played on a Samsung Odessy G7 for a couple of months now again after it came back from RMA process, but now its going back in.. And when i put the flat monitor (ACER Predator 1080p) monitor..

I notice that the middle of the screen curve out towards me now.. Im assuming this is from using the curved monitor for so long, since march 2021.

Ive never seen this happen before, im probably not the only one.. Just wanted to ask if anyone has or had the same problem in the past going from curved to flat.

Currently will be without my G7 for a week or two to see if they can fix the jog-button from dying.. So 1080p gaming it is.

Currently looking at 4K monitors, so if you got something better than a VG28UQL1A for 1000$, hit me up i guess.
(Norway is just expensive, thats just how it is.. and M28U seems to be going out of production or avaibility here 😞)

(Sorry to the mod that moved this to the displays section, thought it was offtopic from how weird this problem was.)

I have the same effect. It's just all mental and is gone in a few hours to days usually.

Does it make you feel thankful for curved monitors? I’m asking how much it’s worth it.

For one or two weeks being without a curved monitor.. Im gonna miss it.

I liked having a curved monitor and im trying to find a third monitor for my setup thats curved..

I didnt like it in the start at first, but after using it for a week i was hooked.

It depends if you like it after a short while or not, this is just my personal opinion.
