Would love advice on pc list

Go to solution Solved by brob,

You don't need an 850W PSU for an i5-12400, RTX 3060 equipped system. 550W is enough, 650W is more than enough.

The motherboard and cpu are fine.

The Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition is available with LGA 1700 compatibility, but you will have to check with the merchant to verify it is shipping these newer units.

Budget (including currency): 1240 AUD

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: General fps games and for studying as well

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I am getting my 3060 soon and have a HDD, Just need advice on the other components and if there are better alternatives thanks!

The things im not sure about are if the mobo and cpu combo is alright, im not going to overclock so I went with the b660 and 12400, as for the cooler I am unsure whether that would fit the lga1700 bracket, and if theres a better alternative or if its good enough

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
