It doesn't matter, I'm pretty confident that the "3 pin cable" connected to the motherboard has only 1 wire populated, the sense wire. It's only purpose is to report the fan or pump speed to the motherboard.

You control the fan and pump speed in iCue.

Hi guys, i hope all of you having a pleasant day.
Or at the very least not a "I-wanna-kill-myself day".

I just switched my air cooler to an AIO, Corsair H100 RGB Pro XT to be exact.
And since this is my first time using an AIO, I'm confused about fan settings.

The fans on the rads are connected to a splitter that comes out from the pump, and the 3 pin cable from the pump are connected to CPU fan header (based on what the guidebook told me to do)
The SATA cable that comes out from the pump are connected to SATA power cable.
The Micro USB to USB header

Installed iCue

So what I want to ask is:
What kind of setting should I use in my fan settings in BIOS ??
Should i switch it to Auto? PWM? DC?

Should I turn off/on Smart Fan setting for it (CPU Fan)?

There is approximately 99% chance I edited my post

Ah yes, IIRC there's only 1 cable going to the 3 pin.

Does it mean that without iCue software the AIO can't be configured?
What kind of setting for the pump in iCue should I use ? balanced? or extreme?

More or less. FanControl may be able to control it, but not your BIOS.

Use a fixed speed, it doesn't make a big difference as long as it's fast enough. Turn it up to max, and then decrease the speed until you can't hear it. Usually somewhere between 30% and 80% will be fine.

Last question.
If I were to use FanControl, is there any special setting I should use in iCue ??

Yeah, the "uninstall" setting works really well.
