Windows 10.vs 11. 9900k

When I upgraded to windows 11 for better HDR, since upgraded my gpu and monitor. I noticed that windows triggers my avx offset in idle mode wich windows 10  did not. Does Windows 11 use avx instructions to run with no programs running besides the stress test I use. I gett lover clock frequency due it triggers the offset. If I set the offset to 0 it becomes unstable. My cpu is clocked at 5GHz at all cores with avx offset of 2.  Now it runs at 4,8 at max.

Win 11 (aka Vista 3) sucks. I would just run Win 10. Windows 11 might use the CPU better and if it triggers AVX, then it uses AVX. You could also just up the voltage slighty and run AVX offset 0 (like a man) 😉

What do you mean Vista 3?

 

There was Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10 and now 11, so 11 is the 6th iteration of Vista.

Let me clarify. every 2nd gen of windows sucks by design. XP (OK), Vista (Sux), 7 (OK), 8/Vista 2 (Sux), 10 (OK), 11/Vista 3(Sux)

I disagree: Windows 2000 (OK), Windows Me (Sux), XP (OK), Vista (OK), 7 (OK), 8/Me 2 (Sux), 10/Me 3 (Sux), 11/Me 4(Sux) 

I used Vista back in the day and have never had problems with it,

People thought that Vista was bad because their PCs were too underspecced to run it.
